Glenn began playing drums at the age of 6, and by age 9 was performing with his father as a soloist around the country appearing with over 100 university, high school, municipal and military bands. During the 1960’s, Glenn was an actor appearing with the renowned Arena Stage repertory company in Washington, DC, The Mount Vernon Players, The Chevy Chase Players, and starred in an off-Broadway drama and later on Broadway in “Minor Miracle.” Glenn was the music director for The District Heights Theatre of the Arts conducting the orchestra for “The Wizard of Oz” and “The Music Man”.
From 1970-74 Glenn was a member of the US Air Force Band "Diplomats" combo performing regularly at White House and State Department functions. He performed with every contingent of the Air Force Band during his tenure.
Since 1974, Glenn has led and played with several bands, combos and performance groups in and around
Glenn holds a Masters degree in Communications and a Bachelors degree in theatre from The University of Maryland and since 1980 has worked in the television field as a producer, director, and writer with several organizations. He was an original member of the Discovery Channel at its inception and spent over 7 years with the Howard County Public School System’s television department. Currently Glenn is a video producer/director with the US Food and Drug Administration in
